My name is Troy and that's an x-ray of my ankle below. During a ride, I fractured my fibula and cracked my medial malleolus; the medial malleolus also got shifted down a bit. Did it hurt? Let's put it this way, I have absolutely no idea how in the world Ryan Hughes rode the second moto at Southwick with a broken fibula!
I'm not ashamed to admit, I was scared through the whole crazy experience. I was afraid in the ambulance, I squirmed at the idea of getting an IV, and I dreaded the idea of the doc having to reset my fib (it was pretty tweaked). To top it off, my PanicRev partner Scott, my wife and kids had no idea this was happening or where I was. Humanly speaking, I
felt completely alone. But I wasn't alone. Jesus Christ was right there with me, as He's always been. You see, when I was 17 years old, I asked Jesus to be the leader and savior of my life, from that day on, He's been with me as I've tried to walk through this crazy world with Him. God makes a promise that He will comfort those who are hurting and alone with a divine comfort. I can't totally explain it, but He did comfort me on that day of the accident. And He continues to comfort me through painful rehab. I spoke in front of my church on about this spiritual dynamic of God being there to comfort the hurting, it touched a lot of people. If you'd like a copy of that talk, or just want to dialog with me about how you're hurting drop me an email at info@panicrev.org.
Peace, Troy

Motocross can be a brutal sport. Many times the love, the passion, and the desire to race and/or ride motocross brings injuries right along with it. At times, it can seam that pain and motocross go hand in hand. Unfortunately, life can bring along its own pain and scars.
Hurt, sorrow, and pain are often aspects of life many know all to well. Although, at the same time, all should know that there is a person out there that can heal all wounds, love beyond our understanding, and help us with all our hurting, suffering, sorrows, and trails. I know Jesus Christ can heal all wounds ... How do I know? I know because Jesus Christ healed me just as He has healed many, many others. Jesus Christ is someone that does not fail. He is a person that, if you let Him, can heal all pain and hurt.
Give Him a try . . . What do you have to loose? Pray asking Jesus into your life and into your heart. Jesus Christ will be a pillar in your life. One that you can lean on and count on.
