Over the year I have seen Dalton Bailey at the track. For whatever reason our paths never really crossed although we both new of each other, until our friend Jagher LaFountaine passed away. Dalton gearwas one of Jeagher’s closest friends, living and training with him for a long time. Over the past few months I have been able to really get to know Dalton and am very grateful to call him a friend. I have seen God really touch his life and have seen a fire ignite in Dalton’s heart for the Lord. It has been encouraging to witness and an honor to be a part of. I really look forward to seeing how God works in Dalton’s life and uses him in the future. I hope you enjoy getting to know him as much as I have:

PanicREV: Was this your first year going to Tennessee for Loretta Lynn's?
Dalton Bailey: No, I went to Loretta Lynn’s in 2007 in the C class. I got a 5th in mod and 15th in my stock class.

PRev: How was the experience this year? What was the highlight of your week?
DB: The experience was awesome! I definitely learned a lot. I don’t really have a highlight; it was just a good time racing, and I had fun hanging out with friends

PRev: We saw you out at the JL59 Ride Day. Tell us a little bit about how that went.
DB: The JL59 Ride Day went awesome! There were a ton of people there to show the support and love they have for Jeagher and his family. PanicREV did a great job putting on the event.

PRev: Were you close to Jeagher? dalton-jeagher

DB: Yes, I was very close to Jeagher; I lived with him for almost two years. He was my best friend. We would ride and train together. He was a great friend. He always had a positive attitude and was fun to be around.

PRev: How has everything that has happened with Jeagher affected your life?

DB: It really hit me hard when I first found out. It was really hard to handle. But my family and friends all helped me get through it. I do have to say that the whole experience has brought me so much closer to God.

PRev: You are also part of the group that comes to our Bible study on Thursday nights. Tell us a little about that.

DB: Yeah, I started coming right after Jeagher passed away, and everyone at PanicREV helped me so much. They have been there to talk or pray with me. It has helped a lot. The Thursday night Bible study is awesome, Scott does a great job preaching! It’s just a great environment.

PRev: Why do you think it is important to have PanicREV around?

dalton1DB: I think it’s important to have PanicREV around to reach out to the motocross community. Other than PanicREV, there isn’t really anyone ministering to the motocross community in Southern California. For me, PanicREV has really brought me closer to God.

PRev: Let's get to know you a little better. What type of things do you enjoy doing off the bike?

DB: I like to hang out with my friends, go to the beach, or golf. I also like to just hang out with my family and relax.

PRev: What class do you race? What is your plan for next year?

DB: I race 250 and 450 intermediate. My plans are to race Dodge and the Amateur Open, then move up to the A class.

PRev: How did you get into riding?

DB: It was something I always wanted to do. I got a pw80 when I was eight and loved it. I really got into it in 2007 and have been working hard since then.

PRev: What is your favorite Bible verse? db2

DB: I have two: Philippians 4:13 and Psalm 23, because they both remind you that God is with you at all times.

PRev: Is there anything you would like to add?
DB: Thank you for doing this interview. A big thank you to everyone at PanicREV! Thanks to, my mom and dad, BJ , O’Neal, Casey Johnson, Charles at Icon Sports, TO Kawi, ZLT, Maxima, TREmx.com, and Brown Motorsports.

PRev: Thanks Dalton!
