Home to the west coast of Florida, in a town called Naples, Chase Couture is a well known rider to the Florida state. Despite having a tough year, he's put forth a great effort to over come all obstacles that have crossed his path. Chase has been blessed with the opportunity to train and live at one of the most elite amateur and pro facilities in the country, MTF. Milsaps Training Facility, in Cairo, Georgia is where Chase seasonally calls home and with persistent hard work and continuous growth in his faith, we hope to see this dedicated rider top the results in 2009.

PanicRev: Tell everyone a little bit about yourself.
CC: I'm Chase Couture,  17 years old,  I'm from Naples , FL but I spend most of my time in Cairo , GA at MTF. I just recently moved up to the A class and I'm really excited about it.

PanicRev:  You live up at MTF and train with Colleen for months at a time, how is it different from doing your own type of program at home?

CC: I wouldn't say the program is much different from what I'd be doing at home, but there's twice as much intensity being put in. I always have somebody pushing me, whether it's in the gym or on the track. It's a really great environment for training.

PanicRev: How has living up there benefited you as a rider?
CC: Colleen has done a lot for me just in the past year. You can see it in my results.

PanicRev: Tell us a little bit about how your 08 year went and how LL's treated you?
CC: This year went pretty good , I didn't accomplish all of my goals I had set , but I was happy with the year as a whole. Loretta's was kind of a bummer, but I had a lot of fun and I know where I should have been in the results; I just had a few bad motos.

PanicRev: Having Faith is very important, how do you incorporate Christ into racing?
CC: God is number one in my life. It's hard sometimes to keep it that way, being so passionate about motocross. I can always tell when I'm not putting God first because that's usually when I'm struggling on the track.

PanicRev: If you can recall, how long have you had a relationship with God?
CC: I've been raised in Christian home so I was always going to church growing up. When I was 13  I remember going to church and I was like "Am I really a Christian?" I never really understood what being a Christian was until then. I asked the youth pastor at my church if he'd pray with me, and I got saved! It was pretty awesome.

PanicRev: That's so great. What are your up coming plans heading into the 2009 season?
CC: Well , I just moved up to A class so I'm super super excited and a little nervous at the same time. I really just wanna put my head down and work my butt off so I can be a top guy in the A class this year.

PanicRev: What is your ultimate goal for the rest of your career in motocross?
CC: Ultimate goal ... to do what I love for a living. Racing professionally has always been the dream of mine.

PanicRev: I know you're out right now with a broken wrist, but you should be back soon, tell us what happened.
CC: My first day back training at MTF I was riding the new amateur sx track and a few guy's rolled a triple in front of me that I though they were committed to; I had to hit the brakes on the face and cased it. It was kind of a bummer, but I don't think I've ever been this eager to get back and ride in my life! haha

PanicRev: Can we expect to see you at Mini Os?
CC: For sure! I had to miss it last year because I was hurt, but this year I'll be there. Living in Florida , Mini O's is a really fun race because it's not that far from home.

PanicRev: I hear ya! Last but not least, Do you feel your faith has grown since you've become a rider/racer?
CC: I wouldn't say my faith has grown as a racer , but racing gives me a way I can relate to God. If I'm going through a hard time in racing, it's so easy for me to want to get deep into the Bible and find out what's wrong.  Usually the problem is that I haven't been in it at all.

PanicRev: Best of luck at Mini O's and God Bless.
CC: Thanks a lot.
