By the time we got to the statium today the rain had stopped, but it looks like it may start up again at any moment. Every once in a while a patch of blue sky will peak out; however, there are still a lot of dark clouds out there.

The Dirt Wurx crew just removed the plastic tarps from the track a few minutes ago. The track looks pretty dry; however, a few corners have standing water. They have been working on the track and have some sand ready to soak up the water. If the rain holds off it looks likes we might avoid another mudder. We will see if the rain holds off and see how things play out. Stay tuned.

As of right now the pits and the statium are pretty much a goahst town here in San Diego. However, there are a few die hard fans out there getting autographs from their favorite riders. Here Motoconcepts Travis Baker shows some love by signing a few posters for fans.
The track walk is going to happen at 5:00pm. At 5:35 practice will start. The 12 minute practices will be timed and the top 40 will be heading to the night show.
