Today the pros came into town and pretty much took over the show. Both of the pro motos today were really entertaining. They were jam packed with battles from the front to the back. There were plenty more battles on the track besides the pros, it was a good day of racing and here is the way it all went down.

_MG_1036 Jesse Casillas was on the move today in both the 250 and 450 Pro classes. In the 250 class he did not get off to the best of starts but he charged hard and pushed his way into 5th. In the 450 class he jumped out of the gate and was in the 2nd spot in no time. He pushed hard and took over the lead from Gared Steinke. Casillas held down the lead for a few laps but could not hold off Timmy Weigand. Jesse finished up 2nd.

Topher Ingalls shredded in the first moto of the 250 class, he jumped out font early and checked out. He was all alone until there was only 3 laps left in the race when Austin Howell ran him down. Ingalls was able to hold on and take the win in the 250 pro class.

Austin Howell was pinning it in both the 250 and 450 classes today. He got off to bad starts in each moto but he did not let that stop him as he finished 2nd in the 250 class and 3rd in the 450’s. Austin is looking good here and could get a moto win by the end of the week. He is without a doubt one of the fastest riders on the track.

Timmy Weigand was on the gas today, he represented well for the WORCS guys and was ready to put it to the youngsters today. In the 250 class Timmy got off to a bad start but worked his way through and was able to finish 3rd. In the 450 class Weigand showed the rest of the field around the track. Once he got around Casillas for the lead he rode his own race and took the checkers.

In his first big pro race Bryce Vallee had a pretty good showing. He did not get out of the gate very well in the 250 class and got caught up by some slower traffic; however, ocne he got around those guys he ran down the leaders. He ended up in 6th in the 250 class. The 450 class was a little bitter sweet. He got off to a 3rd place start but rapped his foot around his foot peg and fell back to about 7th. He regrouped and got back on the gas to finish 4th in the moto; he is in a lot of pain but is going to give everything he has to race his next 4 motos. Vallee speed is there. With a start he has what it takes to take a moto win, even a title!

The WORCS boy's going at.

_MG_1064
Jeagher Lafountaine is really showing his speed this week; he took the win in two more motos today and is looking solid going into his main’s.

_MG_1078
There is not much more to say about this kid; he is always smiling and just loves to be at the motocross track! Oh by the way, did we mention that he rips on a motorcycle? Tyler Bereman his really on the gas; it should be a lot of fun when Lafountaine, Jessy Nelson and Bereman all meet in the main’s.

_MG_1261
Mitch Alcorn has been consistent through the week and is looking good going into all of his mains.

_MG_1270
It was an awesome race in the 85 7-11 stock class today, Cole Barbieri got out front early and was on the gas. Barbieri, Justin Hoeft, Ryan Surratt, and Tristan Miller all went to war, though not one pass was made the 4 riders went at it. They put on a great show for the fans and family’s it was awesome to watch these kids go at it for 6 laps.

_MG_1375
Austin Burns has been riding really well this week, he has won both moto in the 125 class. He has also done some damage on his 250 and is looking solid going into the mains tomorrow.

_MG_1382
Alec Mellick came out from Texas to do battle here in CA and he is sure happy that he came. He has been running good and took another win today; if things go well he will be taking a few titles back to Texas with him.

_MG_1406
Chris Alldredge finally stayed off the ground today and guess what happened? That is right, he took the win. He is by far the fastest 85 out on the track it is just that he keeps on hitting the ground.

_MG_1227
Carson Mumford and Brandon Hernandez were pinning it today, but Hernandez went down witch gave Mumford an easy win.

_MG_1307

Gared Steinke was on the gas in the 450 class he held down the lead for a good part of the moto. Casillas was the first to get around Steinke but he put up a fight, he fell back to 5th but put in a very solid ride and should be back tomorrow to hammer down some more laps.

_MG_1392
Jesse Masterpool put in some solid motos again today.

Well it was the second moto for our boy Jeff Jetton. Today he was not lucky enough to have the first moto of the day and boy did it show! When the gate dropped Jeff pulled off the biggest holeshot of the week, but was not able to hold things together for long. He was able to do his lap and a half but after that things fell apart. Jeff was hammered ... how do we know this? Well while going down one of the straights he yelled out to us, “I CAN”T BREATH!" When the moto came to a close he also let us know that the track was the roughest track he had ever ridden. So Jeff is going into the main with a 1-7, but the good news is that he should be the first moto again on Saturday! Things are looking up for him as he got his starts down and he will be on a smooth track. One moto to go, what does the future hold for Jeff?  Check back on Saturday for the results!
