Missing Tanner Krahenbuhl

tanner6We met Tanner Krahenbuhl in the spring of 2006. We were in Mammoth for Mammoth Motocross. After a long day at the track we headed down to Bishop to pick a few items up at the local Kmart. While in town we stopped in for some dinner at a local pizza place. We sat there and ate, hung out, and looked through the photos we captured at the track throughout the day. When we got up to pay we were informed that a gentleman and his son had picked up the bill. We were blown away. They didn't say anything or draw any attention tothemselves, just simply paid for our meal and went on their way. This gentleman and his son was none other than Mr. Krahenbuhl and his son, Tanner.

Since the first encounter, our relationship grew greatly over the next few years with Tanner, his dad, Jim, and mother, Kay. We were blessed to be able to really get to know the family; we cannot remember a time that Jim or Kay did not invite us over for dinner when our paths met. Tanner was always upbeat and had a smile on his face wherever he went.

We first met Tanner almost four years ago. Sadly, Tanner's journey was cut short yesterday when his motor home's brakes went out on a steep road coming out of Powder Mountain Resort in Utah. Tanner was pronounced dead at the scene. The motor home had two other occupants; Zach Fussell, 17, and Mike Hutcherson, 34, who were both critically injured. Our friend Tanner was only 16 years old.

Tanner you are going to be missed brother. TRULY, praying to see you again in Heaven. We are pouring out our hearts in prayer for the Krahenbuhl family. We are really going to miss you Tanner!

What a terrible tragedy... I have known the Krahenbuhl family for about 15 years and had the opportunity to work with Tanner in years past. My/our hearts go out to the family and i know that no words can take away the pain and turmoil of the situation. Tanner was one of the most ambitious, dedicated and fun loving clients that i've had the pleasure to work with. He always had a smile and wanted so badly to do well in every race he entered. We all lost a great person and a tremendously driven athlete/racer. Love and peace to TK125...
