Joyful Noise
panicREV Ministries
Ministry leader: Bob McCue
Purpose:
Joyful Noise was created to pull people together with a common interest in riding motocross. It is designed to encourage fellowship and make a joyful noise {{ braapp }} at the track between both believers and non-believers. This isn't a religious gathering, but rather a simple group of people who enjoy a good moto, good friends, and good conversation.
“O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation” (Psalm 95:1 KJV).
A Message from Bob McCue:
You know, as slow as I am on the track, I love to ride my motorcycle. Outside of family activities there isn't anything on earth that I enjoy more. I try to ride at least two days per week and I, sadly, often find myself riding alone. What makes riding infinitely more fun for me is when I can ride and hang out with friends—both old and new, the more the merrier!
For the last two years a friend of mine, Juan Laredo, has had a birthday ride day in January. Juan has issued an open invitation to everyone to go to Racetown in Adelanto to ride, hang out, and to celebrate his birthday. I've had a blast both times I've went and found myself wishing out loud that it could happen more often. Scott Parkinson overheard me saying this and suggested that I pray about possibly overseeing Joyful Noise ; a new ministry PanicRev Ministries is currently developing. Well, he didn't have to ask me twice!
So, here's what I'd like to do: every month we will be inviting everyone to join us to ride together, hang out, eat, drink, and just have some fun. This will not be a private rental, just a day at the track we all gather together. Joyful Noise will be open to anyone that would like to join in, so please be encouraged to invite any friends.
