The defending WORCS Champion got a mediocre restart and found himself picking up a number of spots and in around fifth placeas the first lap came to an end. The crafty veteran kept his head down and put on a charge. As Mike Brown charged forward he soon found his way to the back tire of Kawasaki mounted Ricky Dietrich. Brown and Dietrich battled for a number oflaps, but late in the ran Brown began to pull away to the victory.
Simply put, Kurt Caselli started his charge just a few minutes too late. Caselli spend most of the day in fourth position behind Brown, Dietrich, and Kyle Summers; however, as the other riders began to tier Caselli grew stronger. With about 30 minutes left in the race hemoved around Dietrich for third and then passed Summers to take over second. It looked like Brown had pulled away for Caselli to pose much of a threat for thewin; however, he put on a last lap charge and pulled to the rear wheel of Brown. Caselli ran out of time and had to settle for second. It was a veryimpressive ride.
Ricky Dietrich was untouchable thefirst half, leading the pack. Brown and Summers stayed close but didn't pose areal threat until about the half way mark. Deitrich put up a strong fight battling with Brown and Summers; however, he hit a wall by the time Casellicaught him late in the race. It was Brown, Summers, Caselli, followed by Dietrich going into the last lap. Dietrich was able to recapture third when Summers suffered a mechanical problem on the final lap.

The young Eli Tomac has been racing the WORCS series in preparation of the AMA Nationals, and has been riding really impressively. At Racetown Tomac put in a solid two hours aboard his CRf250 andfound himself in four place when the checkers waved.
Team Kawasaki's Justin Soule' got off to a really bad start coming out of the first turn burred in the back of the pack. Soule' looked like he never really fell into a grove on the rough Racetown track; however, he endured to the finish line. When it was all said and done Soule' finished in 5th place, not bad for an off day.
Gary Sutherlin put in an impressiveride in Havasu at round three of the WORCS series. Here at round four of theseries he one upped himself with another impressive ride, finishing 6th.
Joshua Strang was the top placing Suzuki rider.
Bobby Garrison took 8th place on the day.
Nathan Woods took 9th.
Jonathan Davis looked good and rode to a 10th place finish.

Yamaha pilot Kyle Summers put in a solid ride at Racetown. Summers was in third place for most of the race and found his way around Dietrich to take over second late. Sadly, on the final lap Summers has a mechanical issue and had to push his bike across the finish line. He ended up in 13th place.
