A Busy, But Fruitful Time ...
God has really been moving and stretching us over the last few months. We would like to kick things off with a few prayer requests.
First, we would like to ask everyone to pray for Jesse Masterpool. Jesse is one of the fastest 85cc riders in the country. While competing at the Lake Whitney Spring Classic, the young 14 year old rider went down. He was air lifted from the track and is in critical condition. Jesse and the Masterpool family can really use our prayers in this difficult time. Please pray that God heals Jesse's brain and he wakes up out of this coma.
Moreover, please pray that God really embraces the family and surrounds them with people that will bring them love, comfort, and compassion. The PanicREV crew has been working hard on www.jessemasterpool.com and loving on the family. God is doing some amazing stuff through the website. If you haven't checked it out, please take a moment and do so. You can also leave a message on the guest book. I am sure that would bless Jesse's family. Finally, please pray God continues to use us to bless and minister to the family.
We would also like to ask that you keep Timmy Weigand and his family in your prayers. Timmy has been around the sport for a long time, competing as one of the top WORC and Baja racers in the world the last few years. Last week Timmy's wife Nicole had to take him in to the emergency room after he experienced some blindness in his left eye. After an array of tests, they found that he had a stroke. More tests were administered and they also found that he has a congenital heart defect; Timmy had a hole in his heart in addition to a small mass. Timmy is going to need heart surgery, which is scheduled for early next week. Oh, and did we mention while all this is going on his wife, Nicole, is nine months pregnant and expecting their second child any day? Luckily Nicole and Timmy welcomed baby Tallon into the world yesterday! However, this has to be a stressful time. Please join us as we pray for Timmy, Nicole, Kayden, and Tallon Weigand.
Ahhh, onto our final prayer request. As many of you know PanicREV hosts a weekly Bible study on Thursday nights in Corona, California called Relevant. Over the years, God has really used the study to reach a people group that may otherwise never be reached. It has been such a blessing to see people get saved and to begin to take root in their faith over the last three years. With that said, we know God is about to open a new door for the study. The current location may not be available much longer and we are actively looking for a new home. We are currently looking for a church off the 15 freeway between Corona and Temecula that will open their doors to us. We know God has big things in store. We are all looking forward to what He has planned for the ministry as we move forward. Please keep our search in your prayers. Pray God brings a strong partnership, unity, and a vision to further God's kingdom in the motocross community.
Even with all these prayer requests and uncertainties God is still God, and God has been moving and bringing His blessing in every situation. We are all looking forward to being a part of this movement. We are praying you are, too.
If God lays it upon your heart, we can, without a doubt, use your help. In fact, we cannot continue to do it without your help. First and foremost, pray. Pray for the requests listed above, pray for our leaders, pray for God to continue to do amazing things in the motocross community. Second, please prayerfully consider investing in the work God is doing here by making a commitment to donate. We would love to have you on board and part of the amazing work that is taking place. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me" (John 14:1).
Blessings,
