Words From Scott: Relevant Thoughts

1) My first thought on this week’s service is that Ben Evans did an amazing job teaching on purity. It is so encouraging to see God building Ben up. I personally think it is easy to see that Ben has a pastor’s heart and wouldn’t be surprised at all if that was the direction God lead him once he is done racing! It is so cool to see God use Ben in such a profound way. I am so grateful for the testimony God have given him and the blessings that God is pouring out in his life! I am also so grateful to have Ben serving at Relevant/PanicREV. It is truly a blessing!

Ben was full of one-liners. Here are some of the more powerful ones that stuck with me: “Purity isn’t a designation, it is a direction.” “Your eyes are a gateway into your heart and soul.” “The right person at the wrong time is still the wrong thing.”

2) Crucified skit: man, I thought this was powerful. Everyone did a great job! Big thank you to everyone that played a part: Chad, Keith, Pam, Cole, Vinny, Julie, and Timmy. You all killed it and God used you all in a big way! So proud of you all! Another big thanks to Tim Cope, Marc Vigil, and Holly Binkley who did sound, sound effects, lighting, and slides. It wouldn’t have been the same without any one of you! I love nights like Sunday night because so many people are playing a roll. It is amazing to see so many in the body stepping up to serve! Serving is what it is all about

3) I am really looking forward to having Zach Cobb share this coming Sunday night about Self-Control! Come join us, and lock arms with what God is doing!

Some food for thought: Our circumstance never dictates God's character. Circumstances change, God never does! ‎"These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." John 16:33
