Update
By: Scott Cram
After the Vegas SX I took some time off from riding and training to
rest up. I have been getting worn out and tired for a really long time
(years) when I try to train, ride, and race. While on my break I went
to see a Doc to find out what the deal was. After a full physical I
found out that I have activity induced asthma, which just requires
using and inhaler before excercise. That really explained why I got
worn out and tired while riding, especially when pushing as hard as I
can in races.
So, the plan now is to train, ride, and race as much this summer to get
up to pace with the other racers. I don't plan on doing any Nationals
this year, but I plan on doing a lot of local races. It really feels
good to finally figure out the reason I was getting so worn out and
tired. I originally thought it was lack of conditioning on my part,
which made me over train a lot. As of today I am back to riding,
racing, and training full time.
Thanks,
Scott Cram
