PanicRev Ministries Ride Day
Photos by: John Parkinson and Alice Redmond

The weather forecast called for thunderstorms, rain, and even snow in the high desert; however, the morning of February 18 th was a day of brilliantly lit blue skies over Competitive Edge Mx Park, making for a beautiful day full of riding and fellowship. This marked the first ever PanicRev Ministries Ride Day, yet it was such a success it is sure not to be the last!

In attendance were approximately 60 riders and a total of a 150 people. Everyone was happy to see Mike, Jeff, and Tony Alessi in attendance in addition to Ricky James Jr. and Sr. Moreover, the ministry was blessed by people traveling from all over the country to join in on the fun.

As for that bad weather forecasted, it never really showed up. For the most part, the mountain held the storm away from the track. Other than the cold weather, the storm made the riding conditions even better. The track was prime—moist and loamy the entire day. In addition to a great day of riding and hanging out, the ministry also hosted a raffle—which was a large success. The ministry is happy to declare that 20% of the raffle proceeds went to

the James Marshall Recovery Fund. Here is a brief background about James's situation; several weeks ago James suffered a paralyzing accident at the San Diego Supercross. PanicRev Ministries is extremely happy the Lord made this provision and put them in a place to be able to help out James financially. Scott Parkinson , president of PanicRev Ministries, had this to say, “We are so grateful companies like AC Racing, ProX, Answer Racing, FMF, Scott Goggles, Sparrow Inc., Temecula Motorsports, Universal, Goat Eyewear, RC Motorsports, Dubach Racing, C28, Twin Air, KTM Cycle Hutt, Fast50's, IMS, Final Lap Magazine, and many others had the heart to donate products in support of the ministry. It is awesome; their giving hearts enabled us as a ministry to be able to make a donation to James Marshall. My heart and prayers truly go out to him and his family.” PanicRev Ministries is here to serve and the ministry feels fortunate it was able to step up in James's time of need.

In the end, everyone involved with PanicRev Ministries was very encouraged by this endeavor. This very well may mark a new chapter in the journal the Lord is leading this ministry. Everyone involved is very much looking forward to the next PanicRev event!
