pREV - What is your real name and screen name on the panicREV forum?
359- Scott Parkinson, PanicRev359

pREV - When is your birthday?
359 - Let's see. I was born May 13th 1979.

pREV - So where do you live?
359 - I live in Rowland Heights which is in Southern California.

pREV - Do you play any instruments at all?
359 - NOT AT ALL! I mean when I try sounds comes out, but it isn't pretty! [laughter]

pREV - So what made you want to go into ministry?
359 - To be honest, I didn't really want to go into ministry. It was something way out of my comfort zone and when I first heard God's calling I honestly wanted to run the other way. I guess in the end I walked towards going into ministry out of obedience.

pREV - Nice, I always love hearing about how people got into what they are doing. When did you start thinking about starting panicREV?
359 - Hmm, I got a phone call from Troy asking what I thought about starting a motocross ministry some time before April of 2003. Before that point I had been praying about how God wanted to use motocross in my life.

pREV - Awesome, so where do you see panicREV going in the future?
359 - Man there are a lot of things I would love to see happen. I would love for us to be able to put on Christian motocross camps here on the west coast like FCA does back east. I would love for us to put together a top amateur race team and travel around the country together being real and honest people witnessing to motocrossers everywhere. I would love for us to build a large online community of both Christian and non-Christian coming together to just be real and talk openly and honestly. I also see use exploring the idea of becoming a more of a church body. Not only supporting each other and building each other up in Jesus but really impacting the motocross community with Christ's love in a huge and meaningful way.

pREV - Scott that is awesome, really. Tell us about how you first met Christ.
359 - Wow, that is a really long and personally story. I love talking about it; however, I would like to just include a link to it: www.panicrev.org/print/scott_test.htm. God really worked in a miracle in my life.

pREV - Who is Jesus to you?
359 - The first thing that popped into my head was Lord.

pREV - Well that's a good thing to pop into your head. So then what is your favorite passage in the Bible?
359 - Man. That is a tough one to narrow down. How about I give something that God has really been placing on my heart as of late ... James 2:14-17. God has really been speaking to me about being a Christian that isn't always talking about what being a Christian is, but to do my best to show otherswhat a Christian is. Being a man of action as much as possible. Showing Christ's love to others whenever I can. Hopefully it is Christ they see ... I try my best to step aside and point towards Him.

pREV - Now time for the annual random question of the month: Say your house is burning down to the ground. You are the only one home, and you only have time to save three things. What do you save and why?
359 - Honestly I do not have anything I am all that attached to. But if I had to answer I would have to say my computer (years of work saved on there), my dirt bike (I am going to be a bit stressed and need to have something todo to help get of mind off things), and finally I have to say my dog.

pREV - Well that's it, any words of wisdom to impart on us?
359 - Not sure if this is words of wisdom or not; however, I would like to encourage everyone to just keep fighting for their faith and living it out the very best they can. If we call pull together we can truly make a difference in the motocross community in the name of Jesus.
pREV - Amen.
