Jmart -: Hesston, Kansas. It's a Mennonite town, you're
Mennonite right?
PRev- You bet I am!! So what kind of bike do you have?
Jmart- 2006 Yamaha yz250f
PRev- Describe yourself in 28 words.
Jmart- I'm John Martens, I'm cool with anyone, I will respect you if
you respect me, I am optimistic, patriotic, open minded, and up for just
about anything. There.
PRev- when did you star riding?
Jmart- when I was 5, I had a 1982 xr 80.
PRev- Four strokes from the begginning eh? Hey I started riding in 94
too. Where are your favorite places to ride?
Jmart - So far, I would say
Cahuilla, Starwest, or trails in Colorado. Cahuilla and starwest are socal tracks
PRev- Which racer do you admire the most?
Jmart- Shawty
PRev- So why do you ride?
JmartMX- It's the only time i put all my worries aside, focus, and let
no distractions enter my head! And it provides me with an extremely
awesome feeling.
PRev- Stop making me want to go ride! I still have at least one more
week!! So how did you find out about panicREV?
Jmart- I used to look at the message boards on www.motocross.com and I
saw Scott (panicrev359) and took a look at the site, and knew it was
where I should be!
PRev- How do you feel about panicREV bringing God to the track?
Jmart- Getting riders away from the track and to church can be tough,
but with church being at the track, you allow time for Christlike
fellowship and Motocross Fellowship to form together which is very cool.
PRev- Sweet deal, so how did the internship at panicREV go?
Jmart- It was a huge learning experience for both myself, and Scott (my"boss"). It went well, I had the opportunity to experience a new
place (socal) and be able to serve for panicREV by creating videos, doing
rider interviews, participating at the bible study, forming new
relationships, catching some great racing, and lastly learning tons of new
things about me as a person.
PRev- Describe Jesus in 7 words
Jmart- All loving, all forgiving, everpresent, savior, unconditional.
PRev- what is your favorite scripture in the Bible?
Jmart- John 15:1-7
PRev- And lastly, how is it being one of the few on PRev not to live on
California?
Jmart- There is good and bad, we might not get to ride the "best"
tracks with the "best" riders, but we get to represent panicREV at our Home
track(s) and spread the WORD!
PRev- Any last words?
Jmart- I just want to thank those involved with panicREV who have
pushed me, and taught me things I wouldn't have obtained otherwise. I would
also like tho thank those who made my internship possible. My Mom, Dad,
Scott, John, Amy, Juan, Laurie, Dave, and everyone else who took me
under their wing.
