PRev- What is your name screen name on PRev?
BB- My name is Brian Blank and my screen name is jebrs2.
PRev- Where do you live?
BB- Racine, Wi-about 20 mi south of Milwaukee and 50 mi north of Chicago.
PRev- How old are you, and when is your birthday?
BB- I just turned 49. My birthday is January 9th
PRev- What kind of bike do you ride?
BB- I'm currently riding a Suzuki rm125 that I had lowered 'cause I'm vertically challenged.
PRev- When did you start racing?
BB- I originally started racing MX way back in 1973 and competed in Texas where I lived until 1976. Then moved back to Wisconsin and raced here until around 1979. Then I took a break until 2006 when some good friends talked me into racing Hare Scrambles. This will actually be my first full year back on an MX track and I'm really looking forward to this season. I'll do a few races in Illinois and Wisconsin in both Mx and HS.
PRev- Why do you ride? Why else?
BB- It's incredibly fun!! This year I plan to do some races with CBMX in Illinois where they've had a great dirt bike ministry going on for a while, and I hope to continue with a dirt bike ministry here in Wisconsin. God has been kind enough to light a fire under me and has given me a chance to experience racing again after such a long absence, the least I can do is give glory and help Him in return.
PRev- How did you find out about PanicREV?
BB- I followed a link from another dirt bike website( I can't remember which one ), but the more I checked it out-the more it agreed with me. Everyone associated with PanicRev is totally cool and totally real in their faith.
PRev- Describe Jesus in your own words.
BB- I can best describe Him as the Firm Foundation from which faith is built. Start out by developing a good relationship with Christ and you will succeed at anything you attempt.
PRev- What is your favorite passage in the Bible?
BB- Definitely Ephesians Ch.3, v8-21 where Paul explains how, through Christ, we are heirs to the kingdom. And how we may be able to perceive the love which passes understanding, and receive strength through the Spirit that dwells in all of us who have a relationship with the Lord.
PRev- Random Question of the Month! What is your favorite kind of cheesecake?
BB- My wife, Jeanne, makes the world's best cheesecake!
PRev- Any last parting words to bestow upon us?
BB- Just hold fast to your faith and remember that with God, nothing is impossible. The more you put into your faith, the more you will get back because no one can out-give God. He'll always do far more that you'd ever expect.
